About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a fast-casual restaurant serving Hawaiian plate lunches and island specialties, with more than 120 locations across California and Arizona. The Front Crew role helps provide a positive dining experience through customer service, order taking, point-of-sale transactions, food service, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant. The role may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health codes, safety procedures, company policies and procedures, and the Front Crew Training Guideline.
• Greet customers, provide customer service, and assist customers with their orders.
• Promote marketing promotions and new product items to customers.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle payments, and serve food to customers.
• Perform cashier closing and daily closing procedures at the end of each shift or day.
• Maintain store cleanliness by completing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
