About The Position

Fresh Support is a seasonal, day-shift position located in Chicago, Illinois. The role supports product processing, inventory control, customer order preparation, delivery receiving, and general warehouse upkeep. The position requires at least two years of retail, logistics, or warehouse experience, a valid driver's license and clean driving record, and successful completion of a drug screen and motor vehicle records check. The role involves standing for prolonged periods on cement flooring, lifting up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, performing team lifts of up to 80 pounds, and working in coolers. Equipment used may include a bailer, powered pallet jack, PDA, cutting tools, and other powered or manual tools.

Requirements

At least two years of retail, logistics, or warehouse experience.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and motor vehicle records check.
Able to collaborate and communicate with other work teams.
Detail-oriented when processing customer orders.
Able to use powered and manual equipment, cutting tools, and other tools.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Able to stand for prolonged periods on cement flooring.
Able to lift 25 pounds, 50 pounds on occasion, and 80 pounds as a team lift.
Able to work in coolers.

Responsibilities

Process inbound product and enter information into the inventory control system.
Process invoices.
Prepare product for customer orders and process pick-up orders.
Ensure the quality of product for customer orders.
Communicate product availability to salespeople.
Interact with incoming delivery drivers and back up the delivery driver.
Assist with receiving deliveries.
Inform management of problems or concerns.
Straighten boxes, sweep floors, process recycling, and remove trash as needed.
Rotate stock as directed.
Follow safety guidelines.
Complete additional projects as assigned by leadership.
