About The Position

Stauffers of Kissel Hill is hiring a part-time Fresh Foods Cashier at its Rohrerstown Road Fresh Foods location. The role requires open availability during the day between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., as well as flexible weekend availability. Requirements

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as adding and subtracting multiple-digit numbers and units of weight and/or American currency.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Open daytime availability between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Flexible weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Bag groceries.
Collect cash, check, or charge payments from customers and make change for cash transactions.
Count money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift.
Follow procedures for all processes on register systems.
Gather and stock grocery carts in the prescribed manner, where applicable.
Know Fresh Foods and Home & Garden pricing procedures.
Promote special store events according to company procedures.
Record daily transaction amounts from the cash register to balance the cash drawer.
Record prices and departments, subtotal taxable items, and total purchases on the cash register.
Review weekly sales fliers to stay informed about advertised specials.
May perform Online Shopper duties.
