Fresh 48 Hospital Photographer (with In-Person Sales) - Dallas, TX
About The Position
Bella Baby Photography is hiring a part-time Fresh 48 Hospital Photographer with in-person sales in Dallas, Texas. The role involves coordinating short newborn photo sessions in hospital rooms, editing images on-site, and presenting photo packages to families for purchase. Photographers safely pose and handle newborns and complete several same-day sessions. The position is on-site in a hospital and offers approximate earnings of $500 to $1,200 per pay period. Team members receive guaranteed hourly pay and, each pay period, whichever is higher: hourly earnings or sales commissions, plus 100% of tips. Regular training and support are provided, along with opportunities to connect with photographers across the country. The schedule is part-time, 2–3 days per week, including at least one weekday and one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). The usual start time is 9 AM, with an anticipated end time of 5 PM; the daily schedule may vary based on births. Monthly schedules are posted six weeks in advance, and some holidays are required. Employment is at will.
Requirements
- DSLR or mirrorless camera with at least 18 megapixels; phone cameras are not accepted.
- Laptop with at least 513 GB of storage and 16 GB of memory.
- Adobe Lightroom Classic.
- Willingness to update vaccination records if existing records cannot be provided; assistance scheduling through preferred clinics is available.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and lead several same-day 15-minute newborn photo sessions.
- Safely pose and handle newborns during photo sessions.
- Minimally edit photos on-site using Adobe Lightroom.
- Show photo packages to families and complete in-person sales.
