French II Teacher, Upward Bound Program
About The Position
Wilkes University is seeking a French II Teacher for its Upward Bound Program. This federally funded TRIO Program aims to support high school students in career exploration, college preparation, and higher education pursuits. The teacher will be responsible for the academic component, providing supplemental instruction in advanced French I and introductory French II concepts to a small group of high school students. The role involves strengthening existing French language skills and introducing advanced vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening, and conversational skills through structured class periods.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in French, Education, and/or a related field.

Responsibilities
- Implement the academic component of the Upward Bound Program.
