About The Position

All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Freight Forwarding Clerk for an immediate opening at a transportation and logistics services company in Kent, Washington. This full-time, temp-to-hire role supports freight forwarding operations through shipment coordination, logistics support, customer communication, transportation documentation, and accurate shipment recordkeeping. The clerk responds to customer inquiries, manages shipment information, updates transportation records, and helps track freight movement using internal systems.

The position is based in a team-oriented, fast-paced workplace where warehouse, transportation, and logistics teams collaborate to support customers and accurate, reliable, on-time shipments. The site is near Carpinito Brothers and Blue Origin, off Highway 167, and a five-minute walk from a King County Metro stop served by Routes 153 and 161.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and pay is $25 per hour. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity. Requirements

• Prior freight forwarding experience is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Outlook.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to maintain regular attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS) or similar logistics software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use a Transportation Management System (TMS) and related logistics software to support freight forwarding operations.
• Enter and update shipment information accurately in company systems.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email.
• Use Microsoft Outlook to communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain organized transportation and shipment records.
• Help track freight movement using internal systems.
