About The Position

A Freight Forwarder Air Export manages and coordinates the exportation of goods by air, including documentation, scheduling, and communication with customers and third-party service providers. The role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills to manage customer relationships and support customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Fluency in English.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including calculating costs and rates.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of air freight logistics and customs regulations.
• Understanding of trade laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field; freight-forwarding experience is highly desirable.
• Dangerous Goods certification or experience moving dangerous goods.
• Prior experience with Cargowise.
• Experience with logistics software and systems, such as Cargowise or Tango.
• Knowledge of additional languages.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate air exports, including airline scheduling and movement of goods through transportation channels.
• Prepare and process customs-clearance documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Track and monitor shipments and provide customers with regular status updates.
• Manage customer relationships, address concerns or issues, and support customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with logistics, finance, operations, and other internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, including customs regulations and trade laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
