About The Position

Freezer Repack Associates support C&S’s commitment to preserving the environment and reducing waste by processing damaged and returned products, repacking salvageable goods, and helping ensure customers receive high-quality products. The role involves handling returns and over-shipments, recording returned products, preparing unsalable product for shipment to another facility, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area. The position is based in a frozen work environment of approximately -20° to 0° and pays $18 per hour. The schedule is first shift, Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Requirements

Demonstrate attendance, initiative, productivity, quality, safety, and values.
Have the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures.
Safely handle sharp objects, including box-cutting tools.
Frequently lift products weighing 1–60 pounds or more, including from floor level to overhead.
Stand, bend, pull, lift, and pivot for up to 90% of the shift.
Walk on various surfaces, including concrete, tile, and carpet.
Be able to work on multiple levels of varying height.

Responsibilities

Properly process damaged and returned products.
Receive over-shipments and damaged products from customers and the warehouse, and repack salvageable items.
Stack products that cannot be sold to customers on pallets, shrink-wrap them, and load them onto trailers for shipment to another facility.
Maintain records of returned products from inbound trailers.
Keep the work area clean and sanitary by sweeping and mopping floors and stacking products.
Follow safe operating procedures for material handling equipment.
Safely lift items of varying weights, shapes, and heights.
