About The Position

Freezer Repack Associates support C&S Wholesale Services’ efforts to preserve the environment and eliminate waste by repurposing damaged items, examining goods for defects, and providing customers with quality products. The role processes damaged and returned products, repacks salvageable goods, and prepares unsellable products for shipment to another facility. Associates maintain records of returned products and keep their work area clean and sanitary. The position is based in a frozen environment of approximately -20° to 0°. The schedule is first shift, Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at 3300 NW 123rd St., Miami, Florida. Pay is $18 per hour. Paid training is provided. Requirements

Demonstrate attendance, initiative, productivity, quality, safety, and values.
Be able to safely lift varying case weights, shapes, and heights.
Be able and willing to follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures.
Safely handle sharp objects, including box-cutting tools.

Responsibilities

Manage the proper processing of damaged and returned products.
Receive over-shipments and damaged products from customers and the warehouse, and repack salvageable goods.
Stack unsellable products on pallets, shrink-wrap them, and load them onto a trailer for shipment to another facility.
Maintain records of returned products from inbound trailers.
Keep the work area clean and sanitary by sweeping and mopping floors and stacking products.
Follow material handling equipment safe operating procedures.
