2nd Shift Freezer Forklift Operator
About The Position
The Freezer Forklift Operator supports warehouse operations in a freezer environment by loading, unloading, storing, and moving products. The role helps maintain organized production flow while supporting good manufacturing practices, quality standards, inventory accuracy, and safe material handling throughout the facility. The position reports to the Warehouse Manager and is listed for the second shift, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, with a $0.50 hourly shift differential. The posting also describes first- and third-shift schedules as available options. The work takes place in a manufacturing environment where noise levels may be high and temperatures may vary. Physical tasks may include standing, walking around the facility, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling for extended periods, repetitive tasks, and frequent lifting, pushing, or carrying materials. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or at least one year of manufacturing employment in work history.
- Experience operating a forklift and hand jack.
- Availability to work a scheduled shift: first shift, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM; second shift, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; or third shift, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.
- Successful completion of a post-offer background screen and drug screen.
- Availability for overtime based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Complete job assignments in accordance with good manufacturing practices and quality standards.
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and warehouse products.
- Verify counts of incoming and outgoing products and related materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and product handling.
- Support an organized and efficient production flow.
- Follow safety and food quality requirements throughout the facility.
