2nd Shift Freezer Forklift Operator
About The Position
The Freezer Forklift Operator supports warehouse operations in a freezer environment by loading, unloading, storing, and moving products. The role helps maintain an organized production flow while supporting good manufacturing practices, quality standards, inventory accuracy, and safe material handling throughout the facility. The listed shift is 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a $0.50-per-hour shift differential. The posting also describes first- and third-shift schedules as alternatives. The position is based in Marshall, Missouri. Physical and environmental conditions may include high noise levels and varying temperatures. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or at least one year of manufacturing employment in work history.
- Experience operating a forklift and hand jack.
- Availability to work a scheduled shift: first shift, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM; second shift, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM; or third shift, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM.
- Successful completion of a post-offer background screen and drug screen.
- Availability for overtime based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Complete job assignments in accordance with good manufacturing practices and quality standards.
- Operate a forklift to load, unload, transport, and warehouse products.
- Verify counts of incoming and outgoing products and related materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory movement and product handling.
- Support an organized and efficient production flow.
- Follow safety and food quality requirements throughout the facility.
