About The Position
As a highly skilled advisor, the Freelancer combines creative and technical expertise and a passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational, and personalized in-store experience that educates and delights customers. Working with the store team, the role supports in-store events and maintains high visual merchandising standards. The position is recruited by Randstad Sourceright for freelance assignments at The Estée Lauder Companies retail locations, with Randstad as the employer of record. The role requires flexible availability in a fast-paced retail environment, including days, nights, weekends, and special events. Work takes place on a retail sales floor and involves standing and walking for extended periods, conversing with customers, handling products and display materials, and moving merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide proof of legal authorization to work in the United States upon hire or interview.

Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, high-quality customer service and beauty consultations to in-store customers.
- Execute visual merchandising displays and maintain presentation standards across the retail floor.
- Support and execute in-store promotional events and product demonstrations to drive customer engagement.
- Maintain active knowledge of brand product offerings, features, and application techniques to educate customers.
- Collaborate with store staff and team members to support smooth floor operations and an optimal customer experience during scheduled shifts.
