Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate, Greenbrier
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague, you help create a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. You maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team behind the scenes and on the floor. You prepare products, restock displays, and assist with transactions, using attention to detail and genuine hospitality to care for guests. The role combines service and support: anticipating team needs, keeping the space ready for customers, and helping create positive customer moments during the busy season. It suits flexible team players who can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales-goal challenges.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourcefulness and adaptability to changing priorities; able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers.
Responsibilities
- Help ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
- Review sales goals and learn about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions.
- Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations and customer relationships.
- Maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers, and selecting merchandise to return to vendors.
- Update signs and pricing and support merchandise moves as needed.
- Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them sincerely.
- Support colleagues through honest, caring, and collaborative teamwork.
- Work toward sales goals, take pride in the work, and learn from colleagues to contribute to individual and store results.
- Assist with register transactions.
