About The Position

This role involves overseeing the definition, design, verification, and documentation for ASIC/FPGA development. The engineer will analyze architectures, evaluate design trade-offs, participate in logic design, and system simulation, including module interfaces and formats for simulation. Responsibilities also include evaluating all aspects of the process flow from high-level design, synthesis to place and route, and timing and power estimation. The position requires participation in testing designs, conducting experimental tests, and evaluating results. Additionally, the engineer may review vendor capabilities to support development.

Requirements

  • Experience defining, implementing, and validating digital systems and subsystems for high-performance digital video cameras or associated video infrastructure
  • Strong experience with Verilog
  • Proven success in developing video/image processing, high-speed transport/networking, and/or high-speed non-volatile storage solutions is required
  • 3 years experience with FPGA, structured ASIC, and/or custom ASIC is required
  • B.S. degree or higher in computer science, engineer, or mathematics
