About The Position

As the world's leading producer of Ingeo™ biopolymers, we partner with customers around the globe to deliver innovative, renewable materials that make a difference. We're looking for an FP&A Manager who enjoys partnering with leaders across the business to turn financial insights into better decisions. This is a highly visible individual contributor role where you'll drive financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis while supporting a growing global business. This position is based in our Plymouth, Minnesota headquarters. We believe collaboration is strongest when we're together, so this role is primarily in-office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week. While the role generally follows standard business hours, occasional evening or weekend work is expected during key planning cycles, month-end close, and to collaborate with colleagues in Thailand and support our global finance operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Seven or more years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or Accounting, including experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business analysis.
  • Experience preparing executive-level financial reporting and presentations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience using SAP or other ERP system.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders to support strategic and operational decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting cycles.
  • Develop financial models, long-range plans, and scenario analyses that support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare executive reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and financial presentations for senior leadership.
  • Analyze business performance and provide meaningful insights into trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with leaders across Commercial, Manufacturing, Operations, R&D, and Corporate functions to support sound business decisions.
  • Develop business cases, profitability analyses, and ROI models for strategic initiatives and capital investments.
  • Continuously improve financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes through better tools and more effective ways of working.
  • Develop a strong understanding of NatureWorks' manufacturing operations and business model to provide meaningful financial guidance and support informed decision-making.
