About The Position

This full-time internship will run from May 24 through July 31, 2027, and will be based at SERVPRO Corporate Headquarters in Gallatin, Tennessee. The position pays $20.00 per hour. Please note that housing, relocation assistance, and other accommodations are not provided by the Company. The FP&A Intern's goal is to gain an understanding of financial planning and analysis within the SERVPRO organization. Through hands-on experience with the FP&A team, the FP&A intern will learn how financial insights support business decision-making, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management. Through interning with our FP&A team, the intern will obtain an understanding of business drivers and industry trends. The FP&A Intern will work closely with experienced professionals who are committed to their growth and development.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must be currently enrolled in college, pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, economics, management information systems or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or financial modeling is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in weekly intern activities as scheduled and assigned.
  • Attend team meetings and department events.
  • Shadow FP&A team members to learn financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Assist with monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and financial reporting activities.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support the preparation of management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
  • Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to gather information and support financial analysis.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives related to reporting, forecasting, and financial data management.
  • Participate in special projects assigned by supervisors.
