About The Position

FP&A Consultant Limelight is a fast-growing FP&A software company transforming how finance teams plan, forecast, and report. We empower CFOs, controllers, and analysts with dynamic, connected, and scalable financial models —all in a platform that feels as familiar as Excel, but without the risks. Our clients span industries and rely on us to simplify financial planning and unlock insights faster. Now, we’re looking for an FP&A Consultant in Mumbai to help deliver those solutions About the Role As an FP&A Consultant, you’ll work hand-in-hand with our Project Managers to design and deliver the financial models, templates, and reports our customers depend on. You’ll be more than an implementer—you’ll be a problem-solver, a trusted advisor, and a partner in helping finance teams do their best work. This is a client-facing, hands-on role where your finance knowledge, modeling skills, and knack for clean, intuitive design will shine.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in FP&A, financial consulting, or financial software implementation.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning cycles (budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, reporting).
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills —you know how to structure and present numbers that tell a story.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior finance leaders.
• A problem-solving mindset —you don’t just deliver what’s asked, you suggest what’s needed.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with tools like NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Adaptive, Planful, or other FP&A platforms is a plus.
• CPA, CFA, or PMP certification is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure financial models, planning templates, dashboards, and reports that clients actually want to use.
• Collaborate with client finance teams to understand their business model and translate it into scalable solutions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, allocations, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure projects stay on track—managing timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Train finance teams, share best practices, and make sure they get value from Limelight.
• Partner with internal teams (Product, Success, Sales) to continuously improve outcomes for clients.
