About The Position
Accurate Castings/Hiler Industries is hiring a Foundry Production Team Member to produce custom metal castings at its LaPorte foundry. Team members specialize in an area such as Molding, Melt, Furnace, or Core and contribute to crafting high-quality castings for customers. The work is hands-on and physically demanding, with repetitive tasks, clear deadlines, and productivity-focused metrics. The position calls for craftsmanship, reliability, flexibility, and a collaborative approach in a growing, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Safely lift up to 80 pounds.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Have a solid track record of focused and productive work.

Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience is a plus.
- No specific foundry experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Specialize in a foundry area such as Molding, Melt, Furnace, or Core.
- Operate production equipment, including single or dual shell mold machines, core machines, furnaces, and the shakeout line.
- Work consistently toward assigned production targets while maintaining quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with teammates, ask for help when needed, provide support, and share real-time feedback.
- Perform organized, repetitive production tasks under clear deadlines and results-oriented metrics.
