Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment in the foundry as assigned by the supervisor.
• Complete safety audits and inspections of assigned area.
• Coordinate with maintenance in trouble shooting and analyzing problems on assigned equipment.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working order prior to operation.
• Responsible for the quality of product and will take necessary action to correct any problems that affect quality and reduce scrap.
• Train new associates regarding the proper use and operation of equipment.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Other duties as assigned.
