About The Position

Excel Foundry & Machine, Inc is seeking a Foundry Coordinator for 1st Shift at our Pekin IL location. This role will assist in foundry processes including, but not limited to, melting metal, pouring metal into molds, removing castings from molds and dressing castings. A good attitude and ability to work in hot conditions are top priorities for the selected candidate! Responsibilities

• Data entry of foundry production into AS400
• Inventory control: covering daily inventory of all metal and purchased product
• Shipping scrap metal: daily monitoring-set ship schedules
• Maintain foundry’s mold list
• Track Extra Castings
• Scanning and recording of relevant documents
• Ensure that Test Bars are Poured and Turned In when Needed
• Maintain Notes and Drawings for Castings
• Maintain Spectrometers
• Monthly and Yearly EPA reports
• Monthly Inventory
• Loading/unloading trucks
• Maintain dust collector drums—empty when full
• Pouring of castings
• Floater who will assist in a variety of tasks
• Help other team members be successful
