About The Position

Founding Sales Development Representative (3 Openings) Hybrid | San Francisco, CA Direct Hire / Permanent Placement HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting three seasoned, highly skilled Founding Sales Development Representatives on behalf of a client partner in the cybersecurity-focused AI developer tools space . HireNow Staffing is acting as a direct placement partner for this Sales Development Representative opportunity. We are seeking proven outbound professionals who thrive in fast-paced startup environments, know how to open doors with technical decision-makers, and can help build pipeline infrastructure from the ground up. These are high-visibility roles with direct exposure to executive leadership and a strong path toward future Account Executive advancement. Candidates with unstable or frequently changing employment history will not be considered. We are prioritizing professionals with demonstrated tenure, performance consistency, and measurable outbound success.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of outbound SDR / BDR experience with consistent quota attainment
  • Proven success booking meetings with technical or executive stakeholders
  • Experience selling SaaS, cybersecurity, DevTools, infrastructure, or other technical solutions
  • Strong written communication with the ability to personalize outreach at scale
  • Excellent verbal communication, executive presence, and confidence in live prospect conversations
  • Demonstrated consistency in prior employment history; candidates with jumpy resumes will not be considered
  • Ability to operate independently, solve problems quickly, and perform in an evolving startup environment
  • Strong CRM discipline and structured pipeline management habits

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience selling into cybersecurity buyers or software engineering teams
  • Startup background within Seed, Series A, or Series B organizations
  • Familiarity with security concepts such as AppSec, SAST, vulnerabilities, CVEs, or related categories
  • Hands-on experience with modern outbound tools such as Clay, Lemlist, Apollo, Sales Navigator, Outreach, or similar platforms
  • Strong professional presence on LinkedIn or X
  • Interest in long-term growth toward Account Executive responsibilities
  • Experience representing companies at conferences or field events

Responsibilities

  • Build qualified pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting across email, phone, LinkedIn, and other modern channels
  • Research target organizations, identify buying triggers, and tailor outreach based on technical environments and security priorities
  • Engage senior-level technical buyers including CTOs, VP Engineering, Heads of Security, and related stakeholders
  • Own the front-end sales process from account targeting through qualified meeting generation
  • Partner directly with founders and leadership to refine messaging, territory strategy, and outbound motion
  • Leverage modern prospecting platforms, automation tools, and AI-driven workflows to improve efficiency and response rates
  • Attend industry conferences, trade events, and networking opportunities to generate opportunities and strengthen brand visibility
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, activity discipline, and pipeline reporting standards
  • Provide market intelligence and prospect feedback to help shape go-to-market strategy
