About The Position

Thoughtly is looking for a Founding Product Manager to set product direction across their entire platform, including the agent builder, conversation engine, omnichannel integrations, analytics, and packaging/pricing for GTM buyers. This role will own the roadmap to achieve $20M ARR and beyond, with a focus on customer empathy, AI-native development, and shipping product end-to-end. The ideal candidate will be deeply technical, metrics-driven, have excellent taste, and be maniacal about outcomes.

Requirements

  • Obsessed with the customer; proactively seek out customer conversations and feel their friction.
  • 5+ years as a PM, engineer, or founder with experience taking a product from concept to paid renewal.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and structured without a playbook.
  • Deeply technical: able to discuss LLM prompting, latency tradeoffs, telephony infrastructure, and conversation design with engineers.
  • Use AI tools daily.
  • Metrics-driven: define success quantitatively and back convictions with data and customer insight.
  • Excellent taste: notice details in flow, copy, latency, and silence; articulate why a great voice interaction feels great.
  • Maniacal about outcomes: find what matters, execute, and hold yourself accountable.

Nice To Haves

  • Built GTM or sales automation products (dialers, CRMs, sequencing tools, etc.).
  • Experience with conversational AI, voice interfaces, or telephony platforms.
  • Experience in a high-consideration consumer vertical (insurance, real estate, legal).
  • Experience at a high-growth startup scaling from seed to Series A+.
  • Built or priced PLG or usage-based products.

Responsibilities

  • Live in your customers' world and talk to customers constantly to understand their thinking, friction points, and definition of success.
  • Ride along on sales calls and listen to call recordings to translate customer complaints into product insights.
  • Multiply the team by removing blockers, nailing launch plans, de-risking decisions, and keeping everyone aligned without bureaucracy.
  • Use AI to build prototypes and compress non-engineering cycles to achieve extraordinary velocity.
  • Ship product end-to-end: spec, build with engineering, test with customers, launch, measure, and iterate.
  • Own key metrics such as conversation completion rates, lead conversion lift, agent utilization, and expansion revenue.
  • Set the quality bar for all agent conversations, ensuring they represent customers' brands effectively.
  • Develop a deep understanding across multiple consumer verticals (real estate, insurance, legal, mortgage, education) and buyer types.
