About The Position

At some point in the future, every business will answer their phone with voice AI. We are building the platform that lets them do that - and optimize every conversation along the way. Phonely builds conversational voice AI agents for high volume phone workflows. Our customers use us to qualify leads, book appointments, route calls, and resolve real customer conversations in production. We are growing fast and just getting started. We are looking for our first Marketing Lead - someone who is sharp, creative, and genuinely excited about building something from scratch. You will own how the world understands and thinks about Phonely, and you will have the trust and freedom to do it your way. You will work closely with the founders and across the whole team. If you love the early stage - the speed, the ownership, the chance to actually shape something - this is the role for you.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive marketing experience
  • A generalist: brand, content, growth, and demand gen
  • You have built marketing from 0 to 1 at an early-stage company
  • Equally strong in strategy and execution — you can write the playbook and run the plays
  • Familiarity with tech or B2B SaaS; genuine curiosity about the space at minimum

Responsibilities

  • Define who we are and what we stand for.
  • Own the website narrative, buyer personas, and ICP.
  • Build content pillars, a publishing cadence, and thought leadership across social, blog, newsletter, and events.
  • Layer SEO, PR, partnerships, and paid onto a strong organic base.
  • Brief and manage an external agency for campaigns.
  • Build sequences for different segments of our pipeline that support conversion and retention.
