About The Position

We index millions of jobs, remove noise, rank what matters, and help people find real opportunities without dark patterns, ads, or pay-to-win placement. We are funded by top tier investors in Silicon Valley, along with angel investments from former leadership and directors at Indeed and ZipRecruiter. In 12 months, we grew from 0 → 1 million+ monthly active users - all with a $0 marketing budget! Now, we are looking for a founding team member to help take us from 1M to 10M+ MAUs. The role We are looking for a Founding Head of SEO to architect, build, and execute our massive-scale organic growth engine. Think about the infrastructure that powers Indeed.com 's organic dominance. That is exactly what we need you to build, but faster, smarter, and without the legacy debt. This role is exclusively focused on capturing high-intent job seekers through search. We need a deeply technical SEO practitioner who possesses an extreme amount of grit and the startup hustle required to build something massive. You will work hand-in-hand with the founders and engineering team to design site architecture, build programmatic SEO systems, and drive off-page authority, all while rolling up your sleeves to handle day-to-day execution. This is a highly demanding, high-reward role requiring a minimum commitment of 50 hours per week at our Cupertino office.

Requirements

True Ownership: You do not wait for a roadmap; you identify technical bottlenecks, run SEO A/B tests, and execute autonomously.

Responsibilities

Architect Programmatic SEO: Design the strategy and collaborate with engineering to build millions of perfectly optimized, high-converting job and category pages.
Drive Content & On-Page: Develop scalable systems for generating high-quality, intent-driven content that job seekers actually want to read and use.
Master the Crawl: Manage crawl budgets for massive URL inventories, conduct log file analysis, and ensure rapid indexation of fast-moving job data.
Build Authority: Actively monitor our backlink profile and engineer highly effective, scalable campaigns to generate authoritative backlinks and digital PR.
Technical Excellence: Ensure flawless technical execution across rendering (React/Next.js), core web vitals, structured data, and dynamic internal linking.
