Founding Head of Marketing
About The Position
Hiring.Cafe is building a 100x better job search engine that is fast, comprehensive, honest, and actually useful. We index millions of jobs, remove noise, rank what matters, and help people find real opportunities without dark patterns, ads, or pay-to-win placement. We are funded by top-tier investors in Silicon Valley and have grown from 0 to over 1 million monthly active users in 12 months with a $0 marketing budget. We are seeking a founding team member to help us scale from 1M to 10M+ MAUs. This role requires a minimum commitment of 50 hours per week at our Cupertino office.
Requirements
- Live and breathe social media: Continuously plugged into social media virality.
- Extreme grit and hustle: Relentless, move fast, and thrive in a high-intensity startup environment.
- Highly technical: Understand how software is built and can speak the same language as engineers when designing UGC strategies.
- Deep consumer mindset: Intuitively understand consumer behavior.
- True ownership: Do not wait for a roadmap; identify bottlenecks, test hypotheses, and execute autonomously.
- Passionate about growth: Obsessed with metrics, user psychology, and scaling platforms to millions of users.
- Minimum commitment of 50 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Work hand-in-hand with the founders and engineering team to pioneer exciting growth avenues.
- Handle the day-to-day execution of marketing strategies.
- Identify bottlenecks, test hypotheses, and execute autonomously.
