About The Position

Our client is building the next-generation messaging platform for human-AI collaboration. They are rethinking workplace communication from the ground up for a future where AI agents are active teammates, not just tools layered onto existing workflows. Backed by strong early-stage funding and operating in one of the most exciting spaces in software infrastructure, the company is building foundational systems for how teams will work alongside autonomous AI. This is a rare opportunity to join as one of the earliest non-engineering hires and help build the operational backbone of a high-growth company from day one.

Requirements

  • 2–7 years of experience in business operations, people ops, GTM ops, recruiting ops, or event operations
  • Experience at a VC-backed startup (<1000 employees)
  • Strong operational rigor and process-building ability
  • Experience owning logistics-heavy projects
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity
  • Strong bias toward action and execution
  • High ownership mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Built operational systems from scratch
  • Experience with payroll, compliance, or visa administration
  • Organized high-touch executive/customer/community events
  • Worked closely with founders or executive leadership
  • Startup generalist experience across multiple operational functions
  • Experience using AI/LLM tools in workflows

Responsibilities

  • Own key operational functions across recruiting, events, compliance, and internal systems
  • Design and execute high-quality events for recruiting, customers, and strategic partners
  • Build and optimize candidate work trial processes
  • Establish operational systems and internal processes from scratch
  • Manage compliance workflows and documentation
  • Oversee operational details that shape company perception and culture
  • Coordinate office logistics and internal operational infrastructure
  • Build scalable systems that reduce overhead for the broader team
  • Partner directly with leadership on strategic operational initiatives
  • Help shape company culture during its earliest stages
