About The Position

The Founder's Office at Dust is designed to enhance the company's operating leverage during a period of rapid growth. This role is for individuals with high initiative who want to contribute to the company's most critical priorities. Responsibilities span operations, go-to-market (GTM) strategy, recruiting, customer engagement, partnerships, and strategic projects. The role involves tackling ambiguous challenges and driving them forward with speed and sound judgment. Projects can range from short-term tasks lasting a day to establishing entirely new functions. The position offers close collaboration with senior leadership, providing significant insight into the operations of a fast-growing AI company, and contributing to the scaling of essential systems, processes, and decision-making frameworks. This is not a conventional strategy role or an assistant position; it is suited for individuals who excel in ambiguity, act swiftly, take natural ownership, and enjoy building in areas lacking existing structure.

Responsibilities

  • Own high-priority initiatives that do not yet have a clear long-term owner
  • Drive cross-functional projects across operations, GTM, recruiting, partnerships, and customer work
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and help resolve them quickly and effectively
  • Improve how the company executes by building lightweight systems, processes, and operating cadences
  • Help leadership translate priorities and decisions into execution
  • Step into ambiguous situations, create structure quickly, and drive momentum
  • Operate with high context across the company and connect dots across teams
  • Take on increasing scope and ownership as the company scales
