About The Position

Podium is seeking an AI-pilled, social media-savvy Content Writer to amplify the CEO’s social media presence and build a founder-led content program. The primary output will be founder content, published regularly on owned social channels. The role involves developing a point of view on trends in AI and the local business market, learning the CEO’s voice, immersing in Podium’s activities, and translating this into posts, threads, and narratives that position Podium as a leading voice in applied AI. The goal is to build an AI-native content machine that earns attention and credibility from target audiences including SMB owners, mid-market operators, tech and business media, and investors. This presence is expected to drive market confidence and act as a sales accelerant through inbound interest, deal credibility, and category authority. This is a high visibility, high accountability role requiring extreme ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in executive communications, content (editorial / technical / organic social), executive-facing roles (chief of staff, EA) or product.
  • Exceptional writer and storyteller, able to produce sharp hooks, long-form POVs, and resonant narratives.
  • Deep AI fluency: understands AI tools, conversations, and the zeitgeist; actively uses AI in their own workflows and is excited to build AI agents and automations around content.
  • Extreme ownership bias and proactivity; hungry to scale impact at high velocity.
  • High executive presence: capable of engaging with the CEO, asking pertinent questions, and developing relevant and provocative story angles.
  • Ability to transform raw material into a steady stream of high-impact content for a specific voice.
  • Highly organized; able to autonomously manage a social media calendar, reporting, and content generation steps to take full ownership of social channel performance.
  • High output and low ego: able to produce a significant volume of work, accept feedback, iterate quickly, and not be precious about drafts.
  • Strong understanding of the B2B SaaS / AI / local business landscape to write with credibility.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building agentic content workflows (not just using AI tools, but wiring them together).
  • Familiarity with vertical industries (auto, home services, healthcare/aesthetics).

Responsibilities

  • Write and publish a consistent drumbeat of high-impact, founder-led content on LinkedIn, X, and other owned channels.
  • Shadow the CEO, talk to customers, and interview front-line employees and company leaders to capture raw material and transform it into social-optimized content at high velocity.
  • Build and deploy AI agents and workflows to monitor channel conversations, surface trends, capture insights from meeting transcripts and customer conversations, and feed the content pipeline.
  • Develop a distinct founder voice and a narrative that demonstrates Podium’s credibility, expertise, and differentiation, helping to establish Podium as a category-defining voice in applied AI.
  • Follow trends in AI, SaaS, SMB, and Podium’s served verticals to identify timely topics that will drive engagement.
  • Actively engage on relevant industry posts and threads across LinkedIn and X to drive awareness, grow the audience, and keep Podium in relevant conversations.
  • Write long-form content such as essays, op-eds, and bylines to build category authority.
  • Maintain a messaging framework to ensure voice consistency across contexts.
  • Build a content backlog and editorial rhythm to ensure consistent output.
  • Work with marketing and sales to support and amplify key moments like product launches, customer stories, and category-defining data.
  • Optimize content for social media to generate inbound interest from buyers, partners, investors, and press.
