About The Position

Mitti Labs is building the infrastructure layer to scale climate-smart rice farming — starting with high-integrity, methane-reduction carbon credits. We combine AI-based dMRV, satellite data, and deep on-ground operations to verify practices and aggregate farmers at scale across India and Southeast Asia. Our customers - including Fortune 500 companies and leading agri-businesses - trust Mitti Labs to deliver measurable impact across climate, food systems, and sustainability. We are a team of 60+ data scientists, agronomists, engineers, and operators. Over the past 18 months, Mitti Labs has scaled to 70,000+ smallholder rice farmers across India and built a +US$25M carbon credit pipeline.

The Role You will be a part of a small elite team within the founders office, focused on commercial workstreams. You will work on high priority tasks across the company, solving complex problems. This will include identifying new business opportunities, developing partnerships, and working across Mitti Labs teams. This is a demanding role, best suited for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, takes pride in hard work, and wants real responsibility early.

Requirements

• 3 - 8+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (start-up / strategy consulting / investment banking)
• You have a track record of being a top performer in several different areas
• You are a hyper-logical and structured thinker, while also being a strong communicator and easily build relationships
• You are curious in nature and passionate about making an impact
• You can demonstrate this through various projects you have been involved in
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead high priority projects to ensure we achieve our goals
• Represent Mitti Labs in new commercial partnership discussions. This will include market segmentation, pipeline development, and owning relationships.
• Enjoy great autonomy allowing you to identify problems, carry out analysis, design solutions and execute them
• Collaborate with teams across Mitti Labs to solve critical problems
• Design and build leading processes
• Work on multiple projects in parallel that will require you to be adaptable across multiple functions
