About The Position

The Foster Care Recertification Specialist is responsible for the annual contractual review process for Host Home Providers. The role supports placement matching by sharing information about homes with availability, maintains files for compliance, and helps improve Mentor retention and engagement through planning and ongoing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services.
• Meet all state-specific regulatory requirements.
• Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• Commitment to quality in all work.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of related human services experience preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct the annual contractual review process for Host Home Providers.
• Provide the matching team with information about homes available for placement.
• Maintain and regularly audit files for compliance.
• Work with the management team to develop and implement a Mentor retention plan.
• Coordinate ongoing Mentor appreciation activities.
• Develop continuing education sessions.
