About The Position

The Foster Parent Recertification Specialist coordinates the foster parent annual re-evaluation process and maintains foster parent files in compliance with external and internal requirements. The role conducts periodic in-home health and safety reviews, works with the management team to develop and implement a foster parent retention plan, and coordinates foster parent appreciation activities and skill development sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft.
• Proficiency in record keeping and data entry.
• Meet all state-specific regulatory requirements.
• Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• Commitment to quality in everything you do.

• Child welfare experience preferred.
