About The Position

Temper is building an agentic integration platform for the real economy. Specialized AI agents handle the full lifecycle of integrations: gathering requirements in plain English, generating integration code, testing, deploying, and maintaining integrations in production. The company has paying enterprise customers and real integrations running in production, with more demand than they can currently meet. They have raised over $8M in seed funding and are looking for early team members. The technology involves agent orchestration, platform engineering for integration runtime with durable execution, and self-healing systems that detect and recover from failures autonomously. The platform aims to build a knowledge base of undocumented systems that improves with each integration. This is a novel approach to production-scale integration platforms.

Requirements

Shipped real things end-to-end, multiple times, and owned them.
Energized by customer problems, not just engineering ones.
Experience coding with AI agents and discerning what is worth shipping.
Strong technical opinions that can be changed based on evidence.
Ability to move independently.
Desire to do the best work of their career.
Experience with TypeScript, React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, AWS.
Comfortable running multiple AI agents in parallel.
Ability to pick up new things fast.

Responsibilities

Own the full arc of getting Temper running in production at enterprise customers: scoping integrations, deploying them, and keeping them live.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers when integrations are critical.
Identify edge cases, patterns, and gaps during customer engagements.
Build fixes and improvements directly within the product.
Contribute to the feedback loop from production to the product roadmap and code development.
