About The Position

Blockaid builds security technology that protects the movement of money, including stablecoins, tokenized assets, and payments made by AI agents. Its technology screens transactions for platforms such as Coinbase, MetaMask, and Uniswap to help prevent fraud, scams, and hacks. The Forward Deployed Engineer supports customer technical integrations and onboarding, working with customers and prospects to understand their needs and deliver technical solutions. The role also works closely with Research and Development and Product teams.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a post-sales, customer-facing, or consulting role.
• At least 2 years of experience in software development.
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to present technical solutions concisely to customers and prospects.
• Passion for investigating technical issues and solving customer challenges.

Nice To Haves

• Experience at a cybersecurity company.
• Blockchain or Web3 knowledge.
• Early-stage startup sales engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical integration and customer onboarding, and develop strategies for integrating and onboarding customers to Blockaid.
• Drive expansion within the customer base to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
• Work closely with Research and Development and Product teams.
• Research multiple DeFi protocols.
• Consult with customers and prospects to define their challenges and opportunities.
• Educate customers and prospects, build trusted-advisor relationships, challenge assumptions and current practices, and deliver value.
• Support technical and business discovery activities, including workshops and demonstrations, across multiple opportunities.
• Deliver product demonstrations tailored to customer environments and testing needs.
