About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a Forklift worker for a high-volume distribution operation in Twin Falls, Idaho. This full-time, temporary-to-hire warehouse role focuses on safe, accurate, and efficient material handling, order preparation, and inventory control. Multiple shifts are available, with training provided and overtime opportunities. The anticipated start is immediate. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, paid weekly. The mid shift runs 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Thursday through Sunday. The day shift runs 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; day-shift applicants must have experience with a rack system and cold storage. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse experience.
Forklift license or certification, or forklift experience.
Familiarity with material-handling equipment and RF scanning.
Basic math skills and inventory accuracy experience.
Strong understanding of OSHA and safe warehouse practices.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift and/or hand truck to move products safely and efficiently.
Use RF scanners to track inventory and maintain accuracy.
Pick, wrap, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.
Move materials to workstations, pick-up locations, and staging areas.
Perform cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.
Inspect forklifts and material-handling equipment and complete basic maintenance checks.
Consolidate partial pallets and organize incoming goods.
Follow quality standards, customer service expectations, and warehouse procedures.
Identify and report safety hazards and follow OSHA and site safety rules.
