About The Position

Join a talent pool of certified and experienced forklift and powered industrial truck (PIT) operators for upcoming warehouse, manufacturing, and distribution projects in the Downriver, Lansing, and Roseville regions of Michigan. Opportunities may be short-term, long-term, or temp-to-hire and may involve operating various types of powered industrial equipment. Compensation varies by project and experience. Full-time and part-time opportunities are considered.

Requirements

• Previous forklift or PIT operation experience and/or certification.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and follow OSHA safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime as required.
• Drug screen required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other PIT equipment, including sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
• Load and unload materials and products.
• Move materials and stage inventory.
• Pick orders and provide warehouse support.
• Inspect equipment and perform basic maintenance.
• Work safely in fast-paced warehouse environments.
