About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse environment. The role involves loading and unloading shipments of various sizes and may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. Operators use forklifts or other power equipment for approximately 80% of the specified shift.

The position is on third shift, Tuesday through Friday, from 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. Pay is $21.50 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Requirements

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Six months of warehouse experience, preferred.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Keep records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, count, stability, and product condition; report variances as needed.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as needed.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
