About The Position
This is a temporary position in Coles County for a Forklift Operator. The role involves loading and unloading products, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a safe work environment. You will use an RF scan gun for inventory management and operate forklifts safely.
Requirements
- Previous lift truck or heavy equipment experience is required
- Proficient in math and reading
- Customer service oriented
- Experience with RF guns or tablets for receiving, put away, and picking
- Ability to prioritize and balance completion of several tasks; self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, willingness and eagerness to learn new skills
- Clean safety record

Responsibilities
- Load and unload product from trucks using sit down or stand up forklift
- Put away product
- Identify and report damage
- Keep an accurate warehouse inventory
- Assist in keeping a safe work environment
- Use RF Scan gun to show where product is being stored
- Put items onto semis for shipment
- Operate forklifts in safe manner
