About The Position

The Night Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, unload, relocate, and stack merchandise. The role also pulls and stages orders for delivery, unloads inbound shipments, loads outbound shipments, and moves products to dispersing trailers. The operator is responsible for safe and efficient vehicle operation and for keeping facility equipment neat, clean, and orderly. This role works under close supervision, follows clearly defined standard operating procedures, takes direction, and communicates with team members. Work takes place in a warehouse, with assignments that may involve changing temperature and humidity and usually moderate-to-high noise. Shifts are assigned for 8–10 hours. Travel requirements vary by assignment.

Requirements

High school diploma.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Basic technical skills.
Ability to take direction and work under close supervision.
Ability to follow clearly defined standard operating procedures and communicate with team members.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as needed.
Ability to work assigned 8–10-hour shifts, including days and night hours, weekends, holidays, and overtime as necessary.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including frequent sitting, walking, standing, handling, grasping, twisting, operating foot controls, crouching, kneeling, bending, stooping, and reaching.
