About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a warehouse and load and unload shipments of various sizes. Operators may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The role involves using powered equipment to move, stock, and stage products, as well as case picking.

The position is 1st shift, 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and pays $20 per hour. Forklift operators spend 80% of their specified shift loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience operating a clamp truck.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Previous experience using an RF scanner.
• At least 6 months of sit-down forklift experience.
• At least 6 months of stand-up forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Keep records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Maintain facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Load and unload trailers and perform case picking.
