About The Position

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is seeking a full-time Forklift Operator to inspect and transport propane cylinders by loading and unloading them for delivery drivers. The role includes in-house OSHA-certified training and involves moving cylinders safely around the yard, maintaining the flow of materials and products, and supporting production shifts when not operating the forklift. The position may require evening hours and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand, and pass required training requirements and exams.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.
• Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, a lawful permanent resident, or otherwise authorized to work in the United States.
• Must not now or in the future require sponsorship for an employment visa.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport propane cylinders around the yard using a forklift.
• Handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Complete and submit log sheets, bills of lading (BOLs), packing slips, and other required paperwork.
• Document forklift inspections before shift start-up to support mechanical safety and OSHA compliance.
• Inspect the vehicle regularly and notify a supervisor when maintenance is needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Assist production shifts with other staffing needs when not operating the forklift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
