About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock and materials throughout a warehouse. The position works in a team-oriented, fast-paced, safety-focused environment and uses equipment such as sit-down, stand-up, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Operators load and unload shipments, prepare products for shipment, maintain inventory accuracy, and help keep equipment, materials, and work areas orderly.

The specified schedule is first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $21.35 per hour. A forklift operator certificate or completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment is required. A high school diploma or equivalent, six months of warehouse experience, and six months of forklift operation experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate inventory records and reports.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse organization.
• Communicate with team members, leaders, and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
