About The Position

This is a temporary position in Macon County where the associate will be responsible for various tasks related to handling bags of flour. Duties include unstacking bags of flour and placing them on a machine conveyor, restacking them on a new pallet, and staging them for forklift operation. The role also involves adding labels to individual bags, using a heat gun to remove and replace labels on defective products, and maintaining a clean work area by sweeping and cleaning spills. Eventually, the associate will operate a forklift. The bags of flour weigh between 20-55 pounds, and the position requires the ability to stand and lift weight all day. Potential hazard exposures include extreme temperatures, dust, forklift and material handling equipment in the work area, cuts or abrasions from material handling, and slip and trip hazards.

• Prior forklift experience
• Ability to stand all day
