About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock within a fast-paced, team-oriented, safety-focused warehouse. The role involves loading and unloading shipments and moving, stocking, and staging products using forklifts and other powered equipment. Operators use equipment for approximately 80% of the specified shift. Case picking represents 20% of the volume and requires being able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.

The position is listed as Second (2nd) shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Overtime is based on business needs. Pay is $21.35 per hour plus a $0.75-per-hour shift differential.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience safely operating an order picker, reach truck, and dock stocker.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably for case picking.
• At least six months of experience with a WMS or similar system, such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, or SAP.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other powered equipment.
• Pick and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the correct products and quantities are loaded.
• Keep records and reports to support inventory accuracy.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, count, stability, and product condition; report variances as necessary.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
