About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse and production operations. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment while assisting with inventory control, product tracking, organization, and accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate has forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to balance physical warehouse responsibilities with inventory-related tasks. The position helps ensure materials are properly received, stored, tracked, moved, and accounted for throughout the facility.

Previous forklift operating experience.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and stage materials throughout the facility.
Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks, handling materials safely and efficiently.
Move materials to designated warehouse, production, staging, and shipping areas.
Assist with receiving incoming materials and verifying quantities against shipping or receiving documentation.
Identify, label, and track inventory accurately throughout the facility.
Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
Investigate and report inventory discrepancies and assist with correcting inventory records.
Store materials in proper locations and keep inventory areas organized and clearly identified.
Enter or update inventory information in the company’s inventory system as required.
Work with warehouse, production, receiving, shipping, and management teams to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Stage materials and products based on production, shipping, or operational needs.
Assist with locating missing or misplaced inventory.
Monitor inventory movement and communicate shortages, overages, or discrepancies to management.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work environment.
Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment damage or maintenance concerns.
Follow company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and forklift operating requirements.
Assist with other warehouse, production, receiving, or shipping duties as needed.
