About The Position

Stratas Foods LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator for their Warehouse area. This role involves a variety of tasks to support warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and safety. The position is Monday-Friday, 2:00pm-10:30pm, with potential for weekend work and overtime. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with forklift experience, including forklift drivers, operators, material handlers, and manufacturing warehouse operators.

Requirements

Must be trained and certified on the forklift
Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling
Proficient in the operation of the stretch wrappers
Must be proficient with a forklift on all operations lines
Must demonstrate the ability to complete and make changes to pick sheets
Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner
Must have basic operational knowledge of roll up doors
Must be able to understand the inventory procedure
Trained and able to demonstrate pallet transfer operations
Must demonstrate the ability to reconcile finished product
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous relevant experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights

Responsibilities

General housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.)
Sample retrieval
Power washing
Lifting and hauling items up and down stairs
Dump rework
Operate a motorized forklift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Load trucks in the prescribed manner
Complete and make changes to pick sheets
Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner
Operate roll up doors
Understand the inventory procedure
Perform pallet transfer operations
Reconcile finished product
