About The Position

Stratas Foods is seeking a Forklift Operator for their Production area. This role involves operating a motorized forklift and performing various material handling tasks. The company is a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies and Archer Daniels Midland Company, with over 200 years of combined experience, specializing in fats and oils solutions for Food Service, Food Ingredient, and Retail sectors.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Previous relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Trained and certified on the forklift.
Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling.
Proficient in the operation of stretch wrappers.
Proficient with a forklift on all operations lines.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate a motorized forklift.
Perform general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, and lubrication.
Retrieve samples.
Perform power washing.
Lift and haul items up and down stairs.
Dump rework.
Operate a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Load trucks in the prescribed manner.
Complete and make changes to pick sheets.
Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner.
Understand inventory procedures.
Perform pallet transfer operations.
Reconcile finished product.
