About The Position
This position is for a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator at the Houston Plant. The role involves performing all work duties safely, maintaining and promoting the Tyson safety culture, and receiving training as required. The operator will also perform other duties and positions as assigned.
Requirements
- Must have at least 3 months continuous work history with the same employer.
- 1 year forklift operator experience (can be multiple employers) listed on the application.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily forklift inspection and submit documentation to supervisor.
- Enter all data into SAP and scan all combos using EIM system.
- Gather raw truck schedule and create dock papers for scanning of combos.
- Unload combos and place on appropriate pallet and scan to location.
- Review truck detail as compared to the bill of lading and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Complete all required production documents and submit to supervisor daily.
- Report any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to supervisor.
