About The Position
This position is for a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator at the Houston Plant. The role involves performing all work duties safely, maintaining and promoting the Tyson safety culture, and receiving required training. The operator will also perform other duties and positions as required or assigned. The job requires the ability to perform physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation. Certain roles at Tyson require background checks, and hourly applicants must complete a task after submitting their application to provide additional information.
Requirements
- Must have at least 3 months continuous work history with the same employer.
- 1 year forklift operator experience (can be with multiple employers) listed on the application.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily forklift inspection and submit documentation to supervisor.
- Enter all data into SAP and scan all combos using EIM system.
- Gather raw truck schedule and create dock papers for scanning of combos.
- Unload combos and place on appropriate pallet and scan to location.
- Review truck detail as compared to the bill of lading. Report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Complete all required production documents and submit to supervisor daily.
- Report any issues related to maintenance or quality of the product to supervisor.
- Pull pallets to the scale with a hook to verify weights.
