About The Position

This position is responsible for moving totes to and from trailers, moving trash, pallets, and supplies to and from the dock and production lines, and moving finished totes to the freezer. The role also involves locking/unlocking the ramp as trailers dock and communicating with management and co-workers as necessary. The work environment can have temperatures ranging from -10 to 80 degrees, with wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, concrete floors, and loud noise levels requiring hearing protection. Additionally, the position requires using a forklift to move supplies, trash, pallets, chemicals, equipment, and cardboard bales on the facility grounds. This aspect of the role is exposed to outdoor weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, insects). The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Must have 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years.
Must have a minimum of 6 months of forklift operating experience in either a manufacturing/production environment or a warehouse facility.
Must be willing to take and pass forklift operator certification.
Must be willing to lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs.
Must be willing to work sitting on a forklift for 8 to 12 hours.
