About The Position
Strategic Workforce Development is hiring sit-down Forklift Operators for warehouse operations in the Kansas City area. The role involves safely operating a sit-down forklift to move, load, unload, and store products, as well as scanning and recording products and storage locations. Operators also stack, pack, label, and move finished products, assist with machine setup, and maintain a clean and safe work area. First- and second-shift openings are available, with pay of $17 to $18 per hour. On-site forklift certification is completed on the first day. Safety gear is provided.
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience.
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Able to sit or stand throughout the shift.
- Wear closed-toe shoes, jeans, and a T-shirt.
Nice To Haves
- Warehouse experience.
- Automotive or electrical assembly experience.
